Enchanted Forrest Wedding

Enchanted Forrest Wedding

Bye Bye summer weddings and hello to fall leaves and cool autumn nights. More and more of my brides are choosing to have their weddings later on in the year during the autumn months. It makes complete sense since Kansas summers seem to only have two weather gauges, either scorching or blistering hot. I recently just had the pleasure of providing the flowers for my cousins' wedding that was on the 3rd of September and I gotta say, these fall colors are getting me excited for future fall weddings to come. My cousin is quite an outgoing and creative girl so I knew that whatever her vision was for her bouquet and center pieces that it was going to be interesting.  I was right; she came in and told me her theme was a mix of rustic and enchanted forest but that she really wanted her bouquet to resemble the fact that she wanted to look and feel like an evil queen. AN EVIL QUEEN lol. We decided to go with a lot of greens and shades of deep reds with hits of black and pink for the evil queen. The shades of red were due to the fact that her wedding was going to be at a vineyard 10 miles outside of Manhattan Ks, called Liquid Art Winery, and what better way to resemble a winery then having the colors be the shades of wine you'll be drinking. The bouquets and arrangements turned out beautifully and fit perfectly with her theme and the outdoor ceremony that overlooked the Flint Hills. The pops of color stood out perfectly under the autumn sunset as her ceremony came to an end. Over all it was a beautiful wedding with a beautiful bride, some gorgeous flowers, and a lot of delicious wine.
